Director of Development & Communications

Responsible for overall fund development and public/media relations. Establishes and implements donor development programs. Oversees the production of publications and education materials. Manages media relations. Establishes marketing plan in conjunction with CEO. Searches grant opportunities and prepares proposals in conjunction with appropriate department heads. Plans and coordinates agency events. Directs outreach activities to build awareness, preference and referrals. Oversees department budget and staff.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years relevant experience to include development, public relations and supervision.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe CS and Raisers Edge Software. Excellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.
