CHEMIST Performs difficult skilled technical work conducting chemical and bacteriological tests designed to produce safe operation of wastewater; prepares work schedules, timetables and standard methods; troubleshoots process issues; maintains files and records and prepares reports. Requirements include: graduation from a college or university with a bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental science, or related field; moderate experience working in a laboratory; possession of Grade II Biological Operator certification; and valid NC driver's license. Minimum hiring salary: $42,860.96. Position is open until filled. Salary commensurate with education and experience. Pre-employment drug testing and background checks are required.
