POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, organizing, and oversight of the day-to-day operational issues of clinical and clerical staff for the Psychiatric Department and NorthStar. Ensures that a collaborative, team approach of management/leadership between clinicians, physicians and administration. Works collaboratively with Supervisors/Manager (s) of other non-psychiatric services performed at remote sites. Provides leadership and creates vision for staff resulting in an understanding and a belief in recovery, co-occurring services, and integrated health care.

EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in an appropriate discipline.

 

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: Five or more years of progressive responsibility in behavioral or medical management preferred. Thorough knowledge of third-party reimbursement, consumer flow, inter-department relationships, and data systems.  A high level of communication skills, both written and oral along with strong listening skills with consensus building and negotiating skills.
