The Contract Specialist assists in the systematical and efficient contract creation, execution, and analysis for the purpose of maximizing financial and operational performance. The position provides technical assistance to agency staff and contractors regarding contract procedures and monitoring contract deliverables. This position also supports the contract management functions by preparing, reviewing and processing contract documents for approval and signature. The Contract Specialist' role requires close collaboration with various departments, including executive management, clinical operations, project management, account management, business operations and finance. Position requires being able to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast paced work environment, without compromising accuracy. Position has the ability to work independently and performs proficiently with limited direct supervision Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or Public Administration or related field. Prior work experience in procurement or contract processes, such as purchasing or contracting. Strong verbal and written skills and ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow. Proficient skills in the use of Microsoft Office products. Experience may be substituted for the degree on a year for year basis Monday-Friday $40,000-$50,000 annually DOE Applications available at www.wtcmhmr.org EOE
