Primary focus is to operate the burn table machine to produce parts to be used in the fabrication and machining of equipment. Secondary functions include, but are not limited to, operation of other equipment as needed and performing light maintenance on the burn table cutter
Responsibilities:

Program machines to cut material as required

Familiar with thermal torch and plasma torch operations and the applications with metal up to 4.5 inches in thickness

Other duites assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

Two (2) – four (4) years of similar experience in a heavy manufacturing environment and operating a burn table/laser cutting machine.

Demonstrate mechanical aptitude

Familiar with acetylene torch techniques to cut materials as required

Prior experience operating an overhead craned and safety rigging materials

Basic computer skills
