Job Summary

The Master Logistics Scheduler is responsible for the logistics administration and communication between the inbound and outbound shipping departments and transportation carriers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
  • Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Responsible for reporting and correcting all issues that may occur.
  • Responsible for shipping schedules and route directions for all inbound and outbound carriers.
  • Communicate with carries daily on the inbound and outbound schedules.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory duties.

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
Education and Experience
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree or greater is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum (3) year of relevant work experience is required.
  • Experience: Greater than (3-5) years of experience working with logistics carriers is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Access
  • Excellent Math Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with all members of the supply chain team.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, Sales Pad and SAP systems a plus
  • Shipping and Receiving experience preferred
