Investment Banking Analyst

Seeking Full-time Accountant, 40 hours per week for Clayton Capital Partners, Inc. (CCP), a leading middle market Investment Banking firm located in St. Louis and Cathedral Properties, owner of local residential and commercial real estate. Training and work will be performed in a fully vaccinated, professional office environment in our Clayton office.

The position will ultimately have the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of Financial Statement exhibits based on client data
• Analysis of client accounting information
• Perform summary write-ups of client documents
• Interface with client regarding financial information
• Database management
• Management of virtual data room
• Participate in transaction execution on a project specific basis
• Process incoming clients
• Assist CFO with other tasks and special projects on an as needed basis

The ideal candidate has:

• Bachelor’s degree in financial related field with significant accounting focus
• Extremely high attention to detail
• Microsoft office experience required – high level of excel proficiency
• Strong and thorough understanding of accounting principles along with practical experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to dialog with senior management, senior partners, and communicate effectively with the entire team
• Entrepreneurial skill set with the desire/ability to succeed as a team player
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong ethics and values
• Superior problem solving and analytical skills
