The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking applicants for a position as a permanent full-time Assistant Reporter of Judicial Decisions.  Attorneys in this position assist in proofing, reading, editing and drafting of headnotes for the Supreme and Appellate Court opinions.  Duties will include editorial review of opinions, performing legal research, and drafting of procedural histories, syllabuses, and indices for Supreme and Appellate Court opinions.

This position is 40 hours per week. Applicants for this position will also be considered for permanent part-time positions.

Salary Range: $77,405 - $144,865/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits.

New employees begin at the minimum.  The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Membership in the Connecticut Bar.
