Children FIRST Therapy, located in the Spokane Valley is in search of a Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team of professionals in our Early Intervention Therapy program for children birth to age 3. Located in a gymnastics facility, we have fun opportunities to incorporate play in the therapy process including a foam pit and trampoline. We are a family oriented organization and offer flexible hours. The position is part time (20 hours per week) to start with the potential to progress to full time. We also provide benefits when you work as little as 20 hours per week including medical, paid sick leave, professional development and bonuses.

Physical Therapist Job Description:

• Conduct initial evaluations for Physical Therapy Services Complete all graduate, 6 month & annual review updates and write reports
• Provide Physical Therapy in preschool, therapy groups, in home, & in childcares
• Build positive relationships with all families and children
• Facilitate Toddler Group as needed Help set up and clean up for all groups
• Assist in circle time activities
• Lesson plan for preschool
• Document all services provided and note a monthly parent contact
• During home visits, leave a home visit sheet with positive feedback and routine based activities
• Encourage parent participation in home visits and in parent participation therapy groups
• Attend MDT meetings
• Build partnerships with Spokane Gymnastics Communicate and build positive relationships with our staff
• Attend relevant development training
• Must hold current Washington State License
