Law Enforcement Officer - Class 3

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provides Law Enforcement services for the National Advocacy Center (NAC)

• Provides court testimony

• Provides general assistance to NAC staff, students, and visitors

• Successfully completes SCCJA (South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy) Class 3     certification training

Benefits:

• Starting pay is $30,000 upon completion of field training and probationary year, employees in this position will receive a 10% base salary increase.

• Free USC class (per semester, after 6 months)

• Equipment/uniforms issued by Division

Minimum requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age, be physically qualified and have no criminal record

• Possess high school diploma or equivalent

• Must pass a background investigation and complete the SC  Criminal Justice Academy with certification as Class 3-SLE
