Senior Technical Architect

The Senior Technical Architect uses their diverse technical experiences and Guidewire expertise to manage projects, working with internal and external customers to gather requirements, design, develop, make program and configuration changes and maintain complex integration software within the Guidewire software integration frameworks. This role acts as the solutions architect for Guidewire application changes, upgrades and new integrations and provides support and troubleshooting to internal customers and information technology software engineers. This is a strategic role that is responsible for seeking out and utilizing new technology solutions and best practices to improve process, increase stability, and reduce cost/time to market and ensuring that software continues to meet the operational demands of the business.

Qualifications: 3+ years of experience developing Guidewire applications, developing in at least one of the following Guidewire applications: PolicyCenter; ClaimsCenter; or BillingCenter. Guidewire Certification 3+ years of experience configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire predefined plugins. Strong Gosu and Java background as well as experience utilizing Guidewire Studio. Prior experience with GIT, Jenkins, Jira, Bugzilla, or other similar applications, to support execution of Guidewire. Experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodology. Working understanding of relational database design in SQL Server. Web Services, XML and ANSI SQL experience. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems. Strong analytical and technical skills. Salary range $75,000-$95,000. NLC Insurance 101 High Street/Norwich, CT 06360.
