Associate Director of Charter Schools – Ferris State University. Under the direction of the Director of Charter Schools, provide leadership and administrative service necessary to accomplish the goals of Ferris State University as they pertain to Charter Schools. This position includes researching and utilizing data to help provide direction for the Charter Schools Office. Monitor and assess the contractual progress of the public school academies authorized by the University. In collaboration with CSO staff, establish and monitor contractual academic goals, develop assessment, monitoring strategies, and reporting methods that provide clear and detailed information demonstrating all aspects of performance for each academy.

Required: Master’s degree in educational field with a current valid driver’s license. Demonstrated highly effective managerial and organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to travel and work extended and varied time schedules. Five years in school leadership role; demonstrated successful experience with managerial and organizational responsibilities in K-12 education.
