The Registered Nurse - OR is a professional care provider who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients.  The RN will provide care to those patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation and coordination with other health care team members, taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs. 

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing preferred.
• CNOR, PALS or PEARS preferred. Completion of any specialty education programs that would enrich knowledge base of specialty.
• Possess current NYS RN license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
