Job Summary | Facilities Information Services supports multiple Facilities Management areas including Facilities Management Campus, Facilities Management Medical Center, Capital Project Management, and FM Shared Services along with many other customers/departments around the campus. Facilities Information Services is seeking temporary position(s) to join our team to support Facilities Library digitizing needs. The Facilities Library houses documents related to the construction and maintenance of university buildings and property. This position will support through scanning and processing collections held in the University Facilities Library. Duties include utilizing current workflows and documentation for scanning and processing current collections; this could also include reconciliation with current digital holdings. Attention to detail is critical. Experience working in customer service and with database systems, Word, Excel, and Adobe pdf are required. Must be able to shift or lift boxes up to 40 lbs., work in basement and attic environments, and stand for extended periods at a scanner. Knowledge of construction documentation and archival methods are preferred. The position will work up to 40 hours per week depending on departmental schedules and needs. The position will need to maintain availability during pre-scheduled times to support the operations of the area. The position will support projects to meet department deadlines. |
