The Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) provides equitable opportunities for people to be healthy, happy, self-reliant, and connected to community. The Housing Finance Program (HFP) within DCHS works with partners internal and external to King County to make affordable housing projects a reality by providing capital funding. The HFP team coordinates with other programs and partners to ensure projects serving vulnerable populations have adequate operating and service funding to support residents’ needs. 4. Long-term affordable home ownership opportunities

In addition to these types of projects, a growing focus for the team is how to better support equitable development that is designed in collaboration with impacted communities, that mitigates displacement pressures, and ensures that historically marginalized communities access housing investments.

This position will underwrite and actively manage projects in different phases of development to ensure that they are equitable, feasible, on track, and achieve King County’s full spectrum of affordable housing goals.
