Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or other related degree required.  Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or other related degree preferred.  3+ years of progressive leadership with increasing scope in practice management.

The Specialty Care Director shall provide day-to-day oversight to the physician practices, including monitoring of productivity and operational metrics, as well as participation in key strategic and business development decisions.  The successful candidate will be an experienced healthcare executive with a strong operational background in physician practice management, including the ability to plan, organize, direct, and coordinate a staff of professional and administrative personnel. Will work collaboratively with other Directors, Providers, and Senior Leadership in the design and implementation of the daily workflow of the clinics, including but not limited to patient flow, billing practices, and process improvement.  Must be data, metric and outcomes driven and able to interpret financial, productivity and operational metrics proactively identifying opportunities.  Experience with budget creation and successful adherence to thresholds.  Must be familiar with national and local physician practice trends, policies, and issues affecting the development of the group practice.  Understanding of specialty service line nuances and operational components.  Able to work collaboratively with hospital departments as it relates to specialty service lines.  Provides oversight and resources for direct supports.  Works with Senior Leadership to craft and implement all aspects of specialty care strategy throughout service area.
