Direct Support Professional

Enthusiastic, reliable & caring individual needed to assist adults with physical and intellectually disabilities in Martinsville, VA.

Preferred Qualifications: experience with ID/DD individuals, high school diploma or GED required, driving 13 passenger van in morning and afternoon on fixed route.
Responsibilities include training in independent living skills, personal care skills, housekeeping skills recreational activities in the program and in the community. DSP will be doing community engagement with the individuals weekly. Must have the ability to multi-task and document clearly on a computer. 40 hours per week Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Hourly rate with benefits.
