Equipment Operator/Laborer 

Public Works Employee Position involves manual work using various power and hand tools & equipment. Ability to operate equipment including backhoe, wheel loader, power broom, boom mowers and tractors with various attachments along with other various related equipment is preferred. Involves outdoor work in all weather conditions as well as working anytime, day or night, including holidays, if need be, due to weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances. Main duties are maintenance of roads, storm sewers, bridges, park & building maintenance. Will be on call for snow removal, storm damage, etc. Commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred, must be willing to obtain CDL within 6 months. High school diploma or equivalent. Starting salary to be $17 per hour-$20 per hour depending on experience & qualifications. Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
