EMT or Medical Assistant Clinician Observer

EMT, EMS, LPN or Medical Assistant needed to manage on-site COVID-19 testing long term temporary position. The Observer will be provided the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and social distancing will be adhered to. Education and training on the protocol, equipment and COVID policies will be provided.

Responsibilities include: Test intake of patients and staff of the Austen Riggs Center. Observation of self-administered COVID-19 nasal swab samples, assuring specimens are collected using the manufacturer's instruction. Assure accurate identifiers are in place and specimens are prepared for transport to lab. Works with infection control team to develop safe and productive testing procedures. Keeps accurate and complete records of testing and post testing results.

Qualifications: EMT, EMS, Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse Must have strong computer and excellent communication skills.
