NARBERTH BOROUGH POLICE OFFICER The Narberth Borough Civil Service Commission announces that a written examination for the position of Police Officer will be held at the Narberth Borough Municipal Building, 100 Conway Avenue, Narberth, PA 19072 on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 9:30 AM. All applicants must report to the testing room by 9:00 AM on the day of the examination. REQUIREMENTS • 21 years of age or older before the deadline for application • Establish permanent residence within a fifteen (15) mile radius of the Narberth Borough Municipal Building within one (1) year following permanent appointment • degree from a college or university • PA Municipal Police Officer Training Program Graduate (Act 120) or be eligible for Act 120 certification • Valid driver’s license • US Citizenship • Fluent in written and spoken English • Physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a police officer and pass pre-employment evaluations. SALARY SCALE: Probationary Officer base annual wage of $67,909 with a mid-year raise to $69,267 according to current Labor Agreement. Annual promotional opportunities are available. Class A Officers (3 years’ experience) base salary as of July 1, 2018 is $92,353.
