Position Summary
The LSU Health – New Orleans School of Dentistry is seeking applicants for a full time, non-tenure track position to teach in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry. Primary responsibilities will involve clinical teaching of Operative Dentistry to undergraduate dental students, and treat private patients in LSUSD’s Faculty Practice 1 day or 2 half-days a week. Secondary responsibilities include some teaching of pre-clinical students, lecturing, administrative duties, participation in committees and meetings, and possibly research. The candidate must have a DDS/DMD degree in General Dentistry, a minimum of 2 years in a General Dentistry Practice or previous Operative Dentistry faculty position in a CODA approved School of Dentistry, and eligible to practice dentistry in Louisiana
