ESU 8 is looking to hire a dynamic, collaborative individual to fill a consultant position within the Professional Development Department. This position will provide services to member districts in curriculum, instruction, assessment, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), and continuous improvement. Experience with instructional coaching and leadership would be beneficial. A current NE teaching or administrative certificate and master’s degree are required. Preference will be given to someone with a SPED endorsement.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Provide and ensure successful implementation of instructional practices such as the development of curriculum, instructional models, adoption and implementation of high-quality instructional materials, use of technology, and personalized professional development for teachers and administrators
- Facilitate presentations/workshops
- Provide instructional coaching based on the individual needs of teachers and/or principals
- Collaborate with a professional learning team to ensure the best possible services for member districts
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete records of all services provided
This is a 200-day contract beginning Aug. 1, 2023.
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
