Job Description:

Senior Developer sought by Fox Entertainment Group, LLC in Los Angeles to be responsible for application development, which includes analyzing and documenting relevant business processes; producing appropriate business process diagrams such as Swim Lane Diagrams; defining, documenting and reviewing technical requirements and producing Technical Specification documents; leading the detailed design and configuration phase of projects and implementation of both customized software solutions and fixes to existing code base; conducting gap analysis and producing a fit gap document; owning the Integration Testing process, including development of test plans, test cases and scenarios and documentation of results; responsible for ensuring that project meets functionality requirements and expected business benefits; responsible for all facets of the User Acceptance Testing processes; preparing and/or reviewing end user documentation, training materials, curriculum and schedule; providing first line post implementation support to users regarding functional issues; and engaging all relevant participants in change management activities, where appropriate.

Responsible for production support, which includes taking ownership of functional issues by identifying underlying problems, analyzing potential solutions and implementing system resolutions, including workarounds; performing the functional and technical analysis for production support activities; applying and enforcing department change control policies and procedures; owning User Acceptance Testing processes, including development of test plans, test cases and scenarios and documentation of results; and taking the lead in coordinating with other IT departments on integrated system support. Responsible for administration duties, which include communicating plans, status and issues to management on a regular basis; adhering to and enforcing department standards, policies, procedures and industry best practices; and, performing other duties as may be required.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in technical development or related software development experience which includes requirements gathering, analysis, designing, developing, testing and deployment of applications.

Experience must include three (3) years of PeopleSoft Financials or Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) implementation, upgrade, maintenance and support activities.

Specific skills:

Also requires experience or knowledge in the following:

- Knowledge of PeopleSoft including Application Engine, SQR, Application Package, XML BI Publisher, Integration Broker, PS Query, Process Scheduler and Component Interface.

- Working on data conversion for PeopleSoft implementations.

- Developing Oracle stored functions, procedures and various SQL objects which were used in conjunction with PeopleSoft applications.

- Performing SQL tuning for performance improvements.

- Working on User Training and Acceptance and creating user manual documents.

- Developing SQR and XMLP based reports.

Any level of experience or knowledge in the specific skills is acceptable.
