Tyrone Area School District, full-time position - 12 months. Salaried, $45,000-$60,000 range, depending on experience and qualifications. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer, support, and troubleshoot a variety of end-user platforms - PC, Chromebook, and iPads.
• Administer, support, and troubleshoot the district’s physical and virtual server and SAN infrastructure.
• Administer, support, and troubleshoot the district’s wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Administer, support, and troubleshoot numerous educational and business systems, both in house and through application service providers.
• Administer, support and troubleshoot district communication systems including phone and paging systems.
• Manage enterprise-level patching and update processed for servers, networking, and end-user equipment.
• Using SQL and scripting, develop data interfaces between disparate district systems/data repositories.
• Light development of in-house applications and reports.

Academic/Certification/Work Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer/IT program.
• Certifications such as A+, MSP or MCSE, CCNA, etc. are a plus.
• 3 plus years in IT operational support role.

Technical Skills Desired:

• Skilled in Microsoft Enterprise Microsoft Enterprise technologies including but not limited to AD, Exchange, RDS, ADFS, clustering, Hyper-V, DFS.
• Skilled use of Microsoft System Center tools for enterprise patch management, operating system and application deployment, and monitoring.
• Familiar with SANs and hyperconverged infrastructure.
• Familiar with wired and wireless network troubleshooting, configuration, and management.
• Familiar with IP based telephony and management.
• Familiar with mobile device management platforms for iPads and Chromebooks.
• Familiar with cloud service providers such as AWS and Azure.
• Skilled in one or more scripting languages including PowerShell, KiXtart, VBScript, etc.
• Skilled in administration and development in MS SQL Server technologies for development of data interfaces.
• Familiar with MS development .NET technologies and frameworks for code maintenance.

Other Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting skills - the ability to access the issue, investigate and uncover the problem, and perform the necessary remediation with minimal support or guidance.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written including the ability to communicate effectively at varying technical levels.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours when necessary to resolve issues or minimize the impact of maintenance for students, faculty and staff.
• High degree of professional integrity in dealing with security and confidentiality.
