A manufacturing company is seeking a Cut to Length Line Operator to set-up and operate each component of the CTL processing equipment.  Training will be provided on first shift; however, you will work second shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. with overtime as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspections prior to the start of each shift and plan all daily activities on CTL ahead of time for best performance
• Set-up and operate Cut to Length Line to produce quality product in a safe manner and handle large sheets of aluminum skins without damage
• Responsible for cutting and leveling aluminum, stainless steel, and Galvan
• Monitor specifications for width, length, squareness, and gauge and identify any imperfections in the metal
• Cut blanks of material to different sizes per customer specifications and tolerances
• Meet safety, quality, and productivity goals for each job
• Maintain housekeeping duties of the CTL and surrounding areas at all times
• Participate in training additional CTL operators
• Perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements:

• Must have a High school diploma or GED 
• Experience with CNC Cutting Machine tooling and set-up
• Must be familiar with modern manufacturing techniques and materials and have a working knowledge of math and geometry
• Must be able to read a tape measure, micrometers, and calipers
• Must have the ability to interpret tolerances, pay attention to detail, and meet high-pressure deadlines
• Must able to be multi-task and successfully oversee entire CTL operation
• Must have strong communication and basic computer skills 
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds 
• Must be comfortable working in a standing and walking position for a full shift
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic, highly-motivated, and results-driven environment
• Must be able to work overtime when needed
