This position is FT/40 hrs a week, day shift, M-F

This position serves as an experienced vascular technologist and is required to be proficient all aspects of non-invasive vascular testing and reporting for hospital and ambulatory patients. This individual will fulfill responsibilities such as ordering essential supplies, acting as secondary timekeeper, and responsible for lab personnel schedule. This position will require travel to any of our many out-patients Health centers. Takes the lead in the education of medical staff and students, collaborate with other departments with participation in research projects. Will take secondary lead to the manager in preparing the IAC application and coordinate this process with other health centers. Take the lead in the system QA process and will coordinate with other health centers. Participate in our monthly system quality meetings. Will be proficient in billing reconciliation and coding. Must maintain active RVT/VT status, meet or exceeds IAC continuing education requirements. Able to perform and teach all study types of vascular ultrasound and physiologic testing. Bachelors degree in an Allied health field is preferred but not required. A minimum of 7 years experience in non-invasive vascular lab operations and testing, preferably in a hospital setting. Proficient with vascular QA and the IAC accreditation process. Must demonstrate leadership qualities, Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to adapt and use different types of ultrasound equipment; basic computer skills.

High School Equivalent / GED RVT - Vascular Technologist - Registered Bachelors preferred. Grad of accredited Vascular Tech Prog OR Sonography Prog w/ Vascular Tech cross-training.

RVT/VT. BLS required, ACLS preferred.

Bachelors degree in an Allied health field is preferred but not required.
