Performs skilled daily operations in accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, and technical work involving the maintenance, data entry, and balancing of financial accounts and records with in the office of the County Treasurer, utilizing accounts receivable, general ledger, and banking systems. Verifies and enters details of financial transactions; and summarizes details to appropriate accounts ensuring that tax records and bank accounts are balanced and accurate. Ability to perform associated pier group functions, while maintaining compliance to financial internal controls. Performs other duties as assigned under general direction and management support.
Education
Required: Associate degree from an accredited college in accounting, business, or finance, with major course work in accounting, or combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the work described.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in the above fields.
