Product Manager of Microsoft 365 Collaboration Tooling

 

EBSCO Information Services is seeking an experienced technical product owner to serve as the manager for Team Collaboration and Individual Productivity functions within the Digital Workplace program.   This position will be responsible for defining the direction of the existing tools and technologies in this space as well as driving the implementation and adoption of new digital workplace technologies across the EIS organization.  If you have a passion for optimizing process and tools, and for making your co-workers more productive in what they do, you are the right person for this opportunity.

 

Essential Duties of the role

  • Ensure that internal teams have the technology needed to effectively collaborate in real time.
  • Ensure that our resources have the tools required to be productive in executing on their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Manage and drive digital workplace program deliverables aligned w/ Team Collaboration and Individual productivity products (i.e. MS Teams, Planner, Outlook, OneDrive, MS Office, etc...) .
  • Effective communication of product vision, feature context, and knowledge from the marketplace.
  • Be the voice of the customer by establishing a clear understanding of their needs and driving product enhancements based on these requirements.
  • Monitor and drive adoption for respective products across EIS organization.
  • Establish product aligned training agenda for all internal EIS customers.
  • Manage process for releasing and announcing new functionality and change in policies.
  • Establish information & content maintenance and retention policies for respective products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience w/ Team Collaboration Technologies
  • 3+ years of experience w/ M365 Suite
  • 3+ years of experience w/ office 365 Suite

Nice to Have

  • Extensive experience w/ office 365 tools
  • Extensive experience with MS Teams
  • Experience managing large-scale projects and/or programs in a corporate setting
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to quickly pick up and evaluate new technologies
  • Experience w/ Confluence
  • Experience w/ Power BI and other MS Power platforms
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Passion for learning and broadening knowledge of Digital Workplace technologies
  • Proficient with performing market research
  • Experience w/ managing VOIP telephony solutions
