One of Idaho's largest and fastest-growing newspapers is looking to add to its all-star lineup. The Idaho Press, named the state's best daily newspaper two years running, is seeking talented, curious journalists to tell important stories to its readers in the Treasure Valley. Applicants should have strong reporting skills, a solid work ethic and a commitment to learning. With offices in Boise and Nampa, the Idaho Press is the Treasure Valley's go-to source for news about state government, the city of Boise and surrounding areas, and Boise State University. This position is for a general assignment/criminal justice reporter. Candidates with interest or experience in covering the criminal justice system will be given additional consideration. This area has experienced some of the nation's fastest growth, while also dominating national lists as a great place to live. We want journalists who can help us document the market's rapid changes for our readers. On your time off you can pursue adventures such as camping, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, snowboarding and whitewater rafting all within a short drive from your front door.
