LOCATIONS:                   Boland Elementary School

 

WORK SCHEDULE:          Program Duration:  July 5th- August 4th, 2022 from 7:30am - 1:15pm

                                        Orientation day: June 15th 4-5:30

                                        Classroom Set Up: TBD

 

DUTIES:                        

  1. Responsible to the ELL Director and program director.
  2. Daily lesson planning.
  3. Thematic planning approach.
  4. Participate with the planning and implementation program in the areas of, ESL in accordance with the WIDA standards for English language development.
  5. Produce bi-weekly reports for students in their classes.
  6. Keep attendance records of students.
  7. Administer pre and post program assessments.
  8. Breakfast and Lunch duty in cafeteria with assigned class
  9. Afternoon Bus Duty

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Ability to communicate with parents.
  2. Committed to quality instruction and curriculum standards.
  3. Expertise on the use of research-based intervention strategies.
  4. Understand the goals and requirements of the State Curriculum Frameworks and Assessments.
  5. Fluent in a language other than English (preferred)
