We are seeking an energetic Athletic Trainer or Exercise Science/Kinesiology Professional to join our team as a Prevention Specialist to provide specialized injury prevention and health improvement solutions on-site at a large manufacturing facility located in Hawesville, KY.

Responsibilities include:

• Proactive injury prevention and early symptom intervention
• Ergonomic coaching and program support
• Case management Proactive injury prevention
• Early symptom intervention
• Injury rehabilitation
• Job Site Analysis

Ideal candidate will:

• Possess strong ergonomic and orthopedic skills
• Be energetic, professional and dependable
• Work independently, take initiative, anticipate challenges and problem solve
• Have excellent presentation, interpersonal and computer skills
• Possess strong customer service, communication, conflict resolution and clinical skills
• Effectively manage time, pay attention to detail and accurately complete tasks
• Engage with the workforce
• Have experience in emergency response services

Education and training required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or similar degree
  If an Athletic Trainer: Kentucky Athletic Trainer license or ability to obtain Kentucky license
• Ergonomic experience highly desired
• CPR/AED certification

This part-time position includes:

• M & F: 5:00am-2:00pm (+ one additional flexible day on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 5:00am-2:00pm.)
