Police Officer Full-Time

Public Notice is hereby given that the South Allegheny School District is seeking applicants for the 12-month position of full-time School Police Officer for the South Allegheny School District, commencing as soon as practical in the 2017-2018 School Year.

Applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications: Act 120 Certification, minimum 1 year experience as a Police Officer or School Resource Officer, willingness to obtain all current clearances required by the PA Department of Education. Candidates should be willing to work closely with administrative staff, faculty, and students, in a “school community policing” experience.

Candidates will receive additional training and instruction as school resource/police officers. Annual salary will be $45,000 plus benefits.
