POLICE OFFICER Lateral Hire - Lockport, IL 

Notice is hereby given that the Lockport Board of Police Commissioners is soliciting applications for police officer positions from Illinois certified law enforcement officers.

Requirements: minimum 2 years' service within the last 3 years with an Illinois municipal, county, state, or federal law enforcement agency.

Age: 23-40

Immediate vacancies Salary: At 2 year step: $74,883; At 3 year step: $78,959; At 4 year step: $82, 571; At 5 year step: $86,411. 3% increase to become effective 1 July 2022.

Vacation: upon completion of field training: <5 years' service: 2 weeks; >5 years' service: 3 weeks.
