Job Purpose - Manage Network-wide marketing campaigns, including D2C and B2B, to support Gannett’s north star priorities with emphasis on customer acquisition and retention. In collaboration with growth and performance creative teams, the project manager is responsible for successfully and efficiently leading the launch of marketing campaigns from project intake to fulfillment, while communicating with all stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams. The project manager significantly contributes to the organization’s success in achieving revenue and budget goals through effective campaign implementation.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Manage collaborative efforts of marketing campaigns from creation through implementation to continually improve customer acquisition and retention through multiple channels including, but not limited to, direct mail, email, free standing inserts, shared mail, and social media.
•Mitigate risk by ensuring accuracy, brand and legal compliance. This also requires candidate to have knowledge of direct marketing tactics and trends as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, analytic abilities and problem-solving capabilities.
•Optimize the success of each channel and campaign using A/B and multi-variate testing (ad copy, creative and format, offer, list targeting, calls to action, landing pages, etc.).
•Lead collaboration efforts with the acquisition and retention teams, the consumer service and marketing operations partners, individual newspaper site(s), Customer Insights and the creative/campaign deployment partner to achieve sales objectives and retention improvements.
•Communicate in a timely and effective manner with all stakeholders across the Network campaign plans, deadlines, status updates and respective campaign/channel reporting. Work with all stakeholders to integrate the successful test strategies into the standard control campaigns efficiently ensuring optimal response rates across channels.
•Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders at warp speed with a keen eye and attention to detail in a deadline driven environment is essential for the Project Manager to successfully execute campaigns on time and within budget that produce results.
Required Qualifications include:
Microsoft Office Suite with strong focus on Excel experience, campaign data management, troubleshooting, problem solving, presentation skills, analytical ability, interpersonal skills including written and verbal, ability to work independently, ability to meet deadlines
Years of Experience (i.e. industry specific, management experience), 2+ years of direct response marketing, including multi-variate testing, with specific experience in offline and/or online channels. B2C and/or B2B marketing experience. Above average project management skills are essential with strong communication, troubleshooting, organizational and time-management abilities. Detail-oriented and analytical but also able to see the big picture and be proactive in making quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment with favorable outcomes. Must possess a positive, can-do attitude and collaborative ability. Demonstrated disposition to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment.
Preferred Qualifications include specialized knowledge of multi-channel marketing campaign management, experience in consumer acquisition and retention strategies, industry knowledge and/or experience

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $51,300 and $120,750. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
