Job Summary | Student Engagement & Traditions (SET) supports students throughout their Monarch experience with the goal of providing experiences that aid in the retention, persistence, and graduation of ODU students. The SET team oversees student organizations, fraternity and sorority life, ODU’s campus information desk, off-campus student life, large-scale campus programs like Homecoming and The Monarch Experience, and supports existing campus traditions while developing new ones. The Director of Fraternity & Sorority life will provide vision and oversight to ODU’s 23 active organizations and 4 governing councils (Panhellenic Council, InterFraternity Council, National Pan Hellenic Council, and Multicultural Greek Council). In this role, the Director will lead the development of growth planning, leadership programming, event management, policy and procedure enforcement, and advisement to the community. This position supervises one coordinator and one graduate assistant, and reports to the Executive Director for Student Engagement & Traditions. |
