Davis Standard, LLC, a leading manufacturer of extrusion systems located in Pawcatuck, CT, is seeking the following self-motivated engineering professionals to join our fast paced organization: 

Electrical Controls Engineer In this key role, you will be responsible for all aspects of electrical control systems including conceptual architectural designs, applications software and generating AutoCad drawings for extrusion control systems. We will look to you to formulate and develop designs for improvement and cost reduction of existing products, as well as the development & testing of new designs and coordinate projects with other departments. Position involves contacting customers on product applications, consulting with Marketing & Production, particularly on new products. Travel to customer site for start-up assistance as required. BSEE or equivalent required; experience with AC drive systems, PLC controls, HMI, and SCADA systems. Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC programming experience required. Prior experience in the plastic industry is required. 

Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for product engineering, product design improvement and value engineering of extruders for all product lines. We will look to you to formulate and develop designs for improvement and cost reduction of existing products, as well as the development & testing of new designs and coordinate projects with other departments. Position involves contacting customers on product applications, consulting with Marketing & Production, particularly on new products. To qualify, you must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, engineering knowledge of materials, structures, and mechanisms, and working knowledge of Solidworks.
