WVA Manufacturing, LLC the largest silicon metal producer in the U.S. located in Alloy, WV is seeking a Staff Accountant. This role assists the Plant Controller in preparing daily and monthly financial reports and analyses. Scope of Responsibilities: Interact with operations &other departments to perform inventory analyses and other reconciliations; Assist in maintaining financial records in accordance to GAAP, prepare account reconciliations, record journal entries, and close the books on a timely basis; Review & analyze the actual manufacturing costs & prepare a monthly report comparing standard costs to actual costs of production; Assist with preparation of the budgets and forecasts for the company; Manage fixed assets, capital expenditures and depreciation; Work directly with internal & external auditors during annual audits, and ensure internal controls are being performed on an on-going basis; Report directly to Plant Controller; Ad hoc local & corporate-level reporting projects.
