Overview

ATSS is looking for a Naval Architect for a client in the Pascagoula area.  
GENERAL FUNCTION: Accountable for the Naval Architecture content and direction of assigned projects

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities

Accountable, as team member, for schedule compliance

Accountable for compliance with the specifications, regulatory requirements, and standard practices

Responsible for responding to and resolving owner comments and regulatory body comments and issues

Provides Naval Architecture guidance and technical assistance as required

Responsible for obtaining vendor information and technical data as required

Accountable and responsible for providing Naval Architecture calculations

Responsible for sketches, preliminary lay outs, etc.

EXPERIENCE & TRAINING
Experience in Naval Architecture, shipbuilding, and production processes. Bachelor degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent experience.
