Job Summary - CORRECTIONAL HEALTH

Responsible for ensuring a variety of Correctional Health-wide Supply Chain Management projects are properly planned, phase-implemented, monitored, and evaluated for results. These projects include, but are not limited to cost reduction initiatives, implementing new systems, system upgrades, and managing Correctional Health-wide service contracts owned by Supply Chain Management. Collaborates with HC purchasing and VAC to ensure maximum value is extracted from the Supply Chain Management data warehouse. Provide management reporting, scorecards, and analysis as required by Correctional Health management. Assess Correctional Health-wide supply chain processes for opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze, propose, and lead Correctional Health expense reduction efforts relating to supply chain activities. The SCM Project Manager will also perform quarterly audits to validate vendor pricing.

Minimum Qualifications

Degrees: Bachelors Degree in Business or in Healthcare-related field with demonstrated proficiency in project management, accounting, and supply chain management information systems, and spreadsheet applications.

Work Experience: Five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain Management (healthcare experience preferred). Including working with purchasing and inventory management systems, MS Office, and business process improvement and cost reduction.

Management Experience: Five (5) years of experience in Support Management Roles within Materials Management.

Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Correspondence, Writing /Reports

Proficiencies: MS Word, P.C., MS Excel
