NURSE MANAGER Horizon Health seeks a Nurse Manager for a busy Gero-Psych Program in University Affiliated Community Hospital in Glendale, CA. The qualified candidate will be able to show either through a combination of education and training and relevant experience the ability to effectively lead a large professional staff of nurses and ancillary staff. The successful candidate should have a minimum of a BS in Nursing and an active CA nursing license. Additionally the candidate should have a strong clinical background working with both mentally ill and cognitively impaired individuals; as well as a firm working knowledge of LPS law and mental health detainment proceedings. EMR skills a plus, but will train. Bilingual and high cultural sensitivity is also preferred. Nurses with a strong background in mental health therapies will be given additional consideration.
