PRN Physical Therapist Assistant
Assists the Physical Therapist in administering the Physical Therapy program to facilitate the rehabilitation of people with physical and or psychosocial disabilities. The Physical Therapist Assistant works with the patients administering selected activities, treatments to restore, re enforce and correct pathology to promote and or maintain good health.
Essential duties include Performs effective treatment techniques in a competent manner.
Educates patient, family, caregiver in applicable treatment and prevention. Participates in the discharge planning process.
Performs other department activities such as, but not limited to documentation, billing, support of department operations, etc.

Position Requirements:
Requires treatment skills necessary to provide Physical Therapy appropriate to the developmental and chronological age of patients on caseload.
Objectivity, good time management and interpersonal skills.
Must be physically, cognitively and perceptually able to provide patient treatment and able to assist in physical mobility of patients and equipment.
Educational Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
License Requirements:
Licensed by the State of Ohio to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Experience in acute and outpatient required. Ability to cover call off, PTO and weekends required. Ability to float to other location preferred.
