General Ledger Accountant

Northeast Natural Energy, a growing natural gas exploration and production company, is seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant for its Charleston, WV office. Qualifications include but are not limited to exceptional analytical and communication skills; Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate; two years accounting experience with experience in oil and gas accounting preferred; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; ability to prioritize tasks and meet related deadlines; ability to work individually or as part of a team; knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and federal, state, and local tax issues.
