To serve as a liaison between the surgeon, patient and staff to ensure the Center delivers care that will minimize complications and maximize patient and physician satisfaction. The Nurse Navigator will assist with tracking the progress of the program and identifying areas that require improvement. The Nurse Navigator will provide pre- and post- op education and assist with marketing strategies. Demonstrate Service Excellence at all time and other duties as assigned.  

BSN REQUIRED

Current Florida State RN Licensure
Graduate of an accredited RN school.  BLS required.  Prior experience working with orthopedic surgeons. Experience with patient education and ability to perform public speaking in front of large and small groups.  Requires excellent organizational skills in addition to exceptional computer skills in Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft programs.  The navigator position requires at least 3 years’ experience in work with orthopedics
