Project Manager, Digital Ad Operations

Remote-based position

 

As the project manager for our Digital Ad Ops division, you will manage both large and small scale enterprise projects being implemented, developing and/or documenting project schedules and milestones. As our project manager, you will keep key initiatives on track, reporting progress, identifying risks and ensure leadership and project team members stay up-to-date. You will develop strong internal relationships, partner with digital team members, cross-departmental team members and vendors to support the process for delivering innovative workflow, product and operational solutions.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Provide oversight and monitor simultaneous project plans & product rollouts to support business initiatives, utilizing established project management standards to track and report on progress.
  • Responsible for running the coordination and completion of assigned projects, including organizing, monitoring, summarizing progress and escalating potential roadblocks.
  • Research, gather, analyze, document, develop and validate functional requirements for departmental initiatives with project stakeholders and/or product owners.
  • Translate user requirements into system requirements, process flows, wireframes, mockups, etc.
  • Serve as the communication hub for the overall project effort, facilitating collaboration, fostering inclusiveness and inspiring the team to produce innovative and creative solutions.
  • Development and ongoing management of unified view of project and process workflows across all teams, including presentation to senior leadership.
  • Partner with Business Process Manager(s) to develop and manage team capacity KPI’s to proactively identify resourcing and staffing needs, working with leadership to develop staff.
  • Collaborate with Local Market and Solution Leads on product and process rollouts.
  • Support development and standardization of processes for client onboarding and internal project management.
  • Champion recommendations to leadership team for change/improvements and execute on approved proposal(s).
  • Promote teamwork to achieve common goals, while encouraging individual contribution.
  • Keep up-to-date on the digital advertising industry and operational trends to better analyze our overall business strategy and priorities.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum five years’ relevant systems/workflow project management, preferably in the digital operations and/or marketing field
  • Knowledge of project management concepts, practices with proven experience in working through implementation phases across organizational lines; Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM) a plus
  • Experience in launching product and process, including capability assessment, vender evaluation and rollout
  • Strong proficiency with industry-specific systems and tools, including but not limited to Salesforce, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Microsoft Office product suite, and Project Management tools. JIRA, Wrike, or Smartsheet a plus
  • Tactical understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, UTM Codes and the relationship between digital advertising and website analytics
  • Proficiency in developing and managing multiple initiatives associated with digital operational infrastructure, campaign management, product roll-outs, onboarding, and day-to-day relationships with clients and vendors
  • Proven track record in using data for decision-making, evaluating outcomes, or making process improvements
  • Strong technical acumen, specifically with platform and process integrations, API’s and reporting
  • Ability to self-motivate and incorporate experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while performing a variety of tasks
  • Analytical perspective to create efficiencies and develop process and product
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment within a rapidly changing industry
