IT-Vice President (Morrisville, NC): Plan, initiate, & manage information technology (IT) projects, applying knowledge of equity & options trading & regulatory systems. Lead & guide the work of technical staff, including two (2) application developers. Serve as liaison between business & technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages & assess business implications for each stage. Collaborate with senior management & regulatory personnel to comply with critical U.S. regulatory requirements involving mission-critical equity trading applications. Meet with senior business & regulatory stakeholders to prioritize book of work items, track progress, & deliver as planned using Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, & agile methodology. Design automation of delivery & deployments using industry standard tools & provide guidance to follow best practices. Organize cross-training sessions for new technologies, including Microsoft Azure & public cloud sessions, & discuss best practices to improve overall stability, performance, & throughput of systems. Apply knowledge of data analytics & engineering & work with C++, Scala, Python, Perl, Jenkins, Ansible, Git, GitHub, & FIX protocol. Set up regular meetings to provide feedback & motivation to achieve objectives. Provide performance feedback of junior team members to senior management. Req’s Master’s degr plus 3 yrs exp or Bachelor’s degr plus 6 yrs exp.
