The Retail Operations Supervisor is a passionate professional with a vast assortment of skills and experience that translate to the retail and hospitality environment.  This individual will be required to perform an extensive range of management duties including customer service, merchandising, training, and other various functions as the need arises. The Retail Operations Supervisor must maintain a level of professionalism and confidentiality in the workplace at all times. They are a critical component to the management team and provide a valuable level of support to the Director of Retail and Operations Manager.       

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide exemplary customer service to our resort guests
• Support management team with customer service issues
• Manage Cash Handling SOP compliance-approve voids, returns, etc.
• Assist with the closing of open checks in IG system
• Research check history in IG database
• Support Operations Manager in recruitment and retention of department staff
• Support Operations Manager with Daily Huddles
• Participate in Monthly Department meetings
• Coordinate lunch schedule daily
• Monitor operating supplies and follow budgeted guidelines on replenishment
• Communication of departmental policies and resort information to the Retail team
• Monitor daily the condition of all outlets with regards to merchandising and cleanliness
• Assist with the updates to opening and closing checklists
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are being followed in all outlets
• Assist with updates to the schedule due to trainings, call offs, weather, etc.
• Support Merchandise Manager with e-commerce duties and functions
• Maintain confidentiality with all associate and guest information
• Configure retail screens in IG, user IDs, and IG cards for team members
• Represent the Retail Department at resort meetings, trainings, and job fairs
• Assist the management team with promotional ideas and events
• Support Inventory Control Supervisor/Operations Manager with cycle counts, transfers, and physical inventories
• Various other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a high school graduate 
• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of experience in a Retail setting preferred 
• Must be 18 years old or older
• A desire to work with people and a passion for customer service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Open and willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Versatile individual who can multi-task and perform various roles
• Team player who can work with multiple individuals and departments
