Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is Seeking an Infectious Disease Physician in New Brunswick, New Jersey

The Division of Allergy, Immunology and Infectious Diseases (ID) in the Department of Medicine (DOM) at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) is seeking open rank board certified/board eligible ID physicians (MD/MD, PhD/DO) for full-time appointments. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Attend a total thirty (30) weeks and ten (10) weekends each year on the infectious diseases service (at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick).
  • Two (2) half-days a week in the outpatient faculty practice ID clinic, as well as in the long-term COVID clinic (at 125 Paterson Street, New Brunswick).
  • Supervise, teach and mentor fellows, residents and medical students.
  • Pursue academic interests leading to peer-reviewed publications on topics related to infectious diseases.
  • Participate in the academic activities of ID as well as the educational, patient care, research/quality improvement and other activities of the Department of Medicine. Guidance will be provided by the Division Chief (Dr. Kaye).
Experience in the treatment of immunocompromised patients, with interest in focusing either on patients with hematologic malignancies (including stem cell recipients) or solid organ transplant recipients is welcomed. Recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply.
