Maintenance Person (The Markets, LLC)
Maintenance Team Member is responsible for general facility repairs and preventative maintenance of equipment in all
the stores.
Qualifications:• Minimum 2 years experience in all phases of maintenance and remodeling; equipment repair.
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge for troubleshooting
• Experience in supervision is preferred.
• Good references and work record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform essential functions, with reasonable accommodation if needed.
• Ability to manage projects in conjunction with Contractors and tradesmen.
Essential Functions:• Performs general repairs on buildings and fixtures such as floor tiles and painting walls (floor maintenance -
cleaning, waxing, buffing, etc.- and lamp replacement to be performed by store personnel); performs
preventative maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, equipment, etc.
• Responds to requests from general managers/store directors concerning needed repair projects.
• Coordinates
the priority of requested projects with
the Store Managers.
• Maintains friendly and respectful decorum at all times toward customers, co-workers, vendors and all others.
• Handles, in a positive manner, those inherent levels of stress associated with employment situations.
