This person will process non-pharmacist related phone calls for pharmacy refill authorizations as well as other related pharmacy services.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: one-year experience in customer service related position required and billing, cashier, and data entry experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: None
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Knowledge of medical terminology or willingness to learn; Bilingual English/Spanish required. Demonstrates ability to communicate at level 9 on the ALTA language proficiency scale; have the ability to work under stressful conditions; initiates action to solve problems consistent with the scope of responsibility; have a pleasant, courteous telephone manner; ability to handle irritated patients; ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously; ability to work with frequent interruptions; knowledge of computers and 10-key, Microsoft Windows/programs; and knowledge of medical billing insurance helpful.
