The TB Control Program is seeking to fill one full-time Public Health Nurse (PHN) position. PHNs provide case management services to patients with active or latent disease, care coordination, referral and follow-up, contact investigation work, medication management, ongoing physical and psychosocial assessment to individuals and families. This PHN will provide information to patients, community members and other healthcare providers regarding TB. The PHN may also participate in research projects that seek to improve the health and treatment of TB patients.

WORK SCHEDULE: This position is a fully-benefited, 1.0 fte that is overtime eligible. The normal workweek is 40 hours, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Evening and weekend hours might be required to meet operational needs.
WORK LOCATION: The TB Clinic, which is located at Harborview Medical Center in Downtown Seattle. This position is also a member of a state-wide strike team and may be dispatched to other Counties across the state with short notice to provide TB support services.
